Join us for the North County Food Bank’s inaugural Season of Giving Gala to be held on the campus of California State University San Marcos in The Ballroom.
This elegant evening event will raise vital funds in support of the North County Food Bank’s hunger-relief programs that serve working-poor families; low-income, active-duty military families; veterans; fixed-income seniors; and children living in poverty.
The gala will include an opening reception with live, seasonal music by the San Diego Harmony Ringers handbell symphony, silent and live auctions, a refined farm-to-table dinner, and after-dinner Latin jazz entertainment with the Bill Caballero Sextet.
Proceeds from the gala will support critical hunger-relief programs including the Food 4 Kids Backpack Program which provides weekend backpacks of food for children living in poverty.

About the North County Food Bank
Established in 1977, The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank and our North County Food Bank chapter (acquired in October of 2015) comprise the largest hunger-relief organization in San Diego County. Last year, the Food Bank distributed 26 million pounds of nutritious food with the help of over 400 nonprofit partners and serves, on average, 370,000 people per month in San Diego County.
Surprisingly, 192,000 North County residents are “food insecure” meaning that they live in low-income households and often do not know how they will get their next meal. With the community’s support, the North County Food Bank will continue to expand our services to underserved areas of North County so that seniors, families, and children living in poverty do not have to face a daily battle against hunger.
